I have been successfully leading for several year HR departments in international and polish companies.
What I learned is that traditional HR strategies is not enough to transform company into the place which employees and board members are dreaming about. It is taking joined effort of all of the groups: employees, leaders, HR and board members.
It needs mutual understanding of each other but also of the common goal which all those groups wants to be. We are using mixed tools and strategies to achieve this result, including facilitation, mentoring, coaching, and consultation.
Changes take time, but when they are done jointly and with determination of all groups, results are extraordinary
